This ideal pre-dinner drink is small in size, just to wet the lips and appetite!

25ml Pernod
25ml Dry Vermouth
25ml Sweet Vermouth

Lowball/Cocktail Glass

Using a mixing glass fill with a few cubes of cracked ice then pour onto the ice the Pernod, dry vermouth and sweet vermouth stirring well.

Strain into the chilled lowball/cocktail glass.



Try making one of the best known cocktails, with many people claiming to have invented it, what is known is that it’s a classic.

75ml White Tequila
50ml Lime Juice
25ml Cointreau or Triple Sec
2 Lime Wedges

Shake the tequila, lime juice and Cointreau with ice cubes.
Strain into a glass that has had the rim rubbed with a lime wedge and dipped in salt to have a frosted look.
Using the last lime wedge squeeze into the cocktail, then place into the glass.

Take note that its just like taking a shot of tequila, together with the salt and the lime!

Sex On The Beach

This cocktail is another well known one and is associated with being relaxing and refreshing.  It brings back memories of good holidays, in the sun!

25ml Vodka
25ml Peach Schnapps
75ml Cranberry & Peach Juice
50ml Fresh Orange Juice
Squeeze of Lemon
Orange Peel
Crushed Ice

Highball Glass

Start by shaking the vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry & peach juice and the orange juice with ice cubes until chilled.
This is then strained into the highball glass filled with crushed ice.
A squeeze of lemon is needed then decorated with the orange peel to finish it off.

Bloody Mary

This is a classic cocktail and is a must to learn!  To some, can be a good hangover cure and a way to start a lazy day.

50ml Vodka
100ml Tomato Juice
15ml Lemon Juice
2 splashes/dashes Worcestershire Sauce
1 splash/dash Tabasco Sauce
Celery Salt
Ground Black Pepper
Celery Stalk
Lemon or Lime Wedge
Cracked Ice

Highball Glass

Start by pouring the Vodka, tomato juice and lemon juice over the cracked ice.
Add the Worcester Sauce and Tabasco then shake well and and the celery salt and ground pepper to season.
Strain over ice cubes into the Highball Glass and garnish with the celery stalk and wedge of lemon.

Kim-berry Recipe


  • 1/3 oz vodka
    1/3 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
    1/3 oz banana liqueur
    2 – 3 oz cranberry juice

Stir ingredients together in a chilled cocktail glass, and serve.

High Voltage Recipe


  • 6 parts tequila
    3 parts peach liqueur
    1 part lime juice

Shake, strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and serve.

Biffy Cocktail Recipe


  • 1 1/2 oz gin
    1 tbsp Swedish punsch
    juice of 1/2 lemons

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Aggie Banana Recipe


  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
    1 cup whole milk
    2 sliced bananas
    2 oz butterscotch schnapps

Place bananas in an uncovered plastic bowl to freeze. Allow frost to form on them.

Blend ice cream, milk, and frozen bananas until smooth. Add Schnapps, blend, and pour.

Beeraquirilla Recipe


  • 5 oz Bud Light lager
    1 handful ice
    1/2 oz tequila
    1/2 oz light rum
    3 oz strawberry daiquiri mix
    3 oz margarita mix

Pour into a blender in this order: ice – beer – tequila – rum – daquari mix – margarita mix. Blend until frothy, then pour.

High Road Recipe


  • 1 1/2 oz Scotch whisky
    1/2 oz Drambuie Scotch whisky
    1/2 oz dry sherry
    1 tsp lemon juice

Shake with a glassful of broken ice and pour unstrained into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a lemon twist, and serve.

Mexican Titty Recipe

Ingredients 1/2 oz Jose Cuervo Especial gold tequila1/2 oz milk Stir ingredients together in a shot glass, and serve.

Mexican Stand-off Recipe

Ingredients 1 cl Finlandia vodka2 cl Jose Cuervo Especial gold tequila1 cl Passoa liqueur Carefully layer into a shot glass in the above order.

Mexican Rose Recipe

Ingredients 2/3 oz tequila1/3 oz strawberry schnapps1 1/2 oz milk1/2 oz grenadine syrup Shake ingredients and strain into a double-shot glass.

Mexican Prairie Fire Recipe

Ingredients 3/4 oz Jose Cuervo Especial gold tequila1/4 oz Tabasco sauce Pour Cuervo Gold into a shot glass,top with Tabasco Sauce. Shoot the fire!!!!

Lumberjack Recipe

Ingredients 1 part ouzo anise liqueur1 part sambuca1 part tequila1 splash Tabasco sauce Pour into shot glass, no particular order. Add small dash of hot sauce.

Lui Lui Recipe

Ingredients 1 part vodka1 part triple sec1 part DeKuyper Peachtree schnapps1 splash sweet and sour mix1 splash pineapple juice Mix with ice. Strain into shot glass.

Luftwaffe Recipe

Ingredients 1 part chocolate syrup1 part Jagermeister herbal liqueur1 part butterscotch schnapps Put 1/3 chocolate syrup, then 1/3 jagermeister, and then 1/3 butterscotch of the glass.

Lucky Stud Recipe

Ingredients 1/2 oz Metaxa Brandy1/2 oz Galliano herbal liqueur Combine with ice in a mixing glass and pour into shot glasses.

Love Potion #2 Recipe

Ingredients 1 oz Stoli Ohranj vodka1/2 oz Chambord raspberry liqueur1/2 oz cranberry juice Chill all ingredients over ice, strain into a chilled shot glass, serve, and enjoy.

Love Hotel Recipe

Ingredients 1 oz sake rice wine1 oz cranberry juice1 splash grenadine syrup Pour the sake and cranberry juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, and strain into a highball glass. Add the grenadine. Stir very lightly, and serve.
