The Coupette Glass is famous for housing the Margarita and sometimes the Daiquiri, this is why it is also known as the Magarita Glass to. The Coupette Glass is based on the classic champagne coupe (designed in 1663, the shape, supposedly based on a woman’s breast!)
The wide bowl was created to make it easier to salt the rim of the Coupette Glass.
